Ilie comes to us from Moldova where he was a 5 time national champion. He was ranked as high as 32 in Europe during juniors and played for the Moldovan Davis Cup Team in 2004. Afterwards, Ilie attended Texas Tech as reached as high as number 17 in the nation. Ilie graduated with a degree in financial planning. He is a member of the Professional Tennis Registry.
